This was an art direction project in collaboration with a Photography student, and by far one of my favourites to do. I came up with the idea of doing a makeup magazine with a (fictional) article focusing on a cosmetics company that was donating to bird conservation. The models would be in stylized bird makeup and there would be some interaction with the text. With some help from a fellow Graphic Design student as a model, and a Fundamental Arts student helping with makeup, we came up with a hawk- and a snowy owl-inspired look, and had an amazing photoshoot.

Choosing the right photos to use was difficult, but I finally decided on one for the cover, and with some touch-ups in Photoshop, I had my snowy owl.

The inside spread was a composition of some different photos, and with Photoshop, Vanessa ended up in a nest.

After adding the text in, I was now finished my magazine cover and spread!
