Fine dining set inspired by bauxite.

The porcelain set is based on a childhood memory. I took walks with my family in a deserted bauxite quarry. We discovered the landscape by hiking around. What an inspirational natural resource! I went back to collect bauxite rocks and involve them in my design.

The set has three elements. For the grey wavy bowls I used grounded bauxite mixed with porcelain. The rocks for servings are made from porcelain. I used the shape of bauxite stones. A white plate, the third element, is a shape mixture of the grey bowl and the rock.
