Cooking Revival is a website that aims to make cooking at home easier and more affordable. It allowed users to find recipes (based on cost, time, method, or ingredient), make weekly meal plans, create grocery lists, and find nearby grocery stores. In addition, the website provided other valuable resources including nutritional information, cooking terminology, shopping advice, and money-saving tips.
HOME PAGE
Upon landing on the homepage, users are able to quickly generate a search tailored to fit their individual needs and preferences. The homepage's photo background would alternate between featured recipes, and the link to the shown recipe would always be found in the lower right corner.
SEARCH RESULTS
On the search results page, users are able to see each recipe's title, relative price, time requirement, and user-rating.
INDIVIDUAL RECIPE PAGE
Each recipe page references the recipe's original website and provides all of the necessary information needed to prepare the meal. It also allows users to save recipes, add ingredients to their grocery list, rate/comment, and find other recipes with shared ingredients. The "shared ingredients" recommendations are meant to help users eliminate food-waste and save money.
SAVED RECIPES
Users' saved recipes will stay on this page for them to refer to later (i.e. when they are ready to prepare a meal).
MEAL PLANNING CALENDAR
Users can use the meal planning calendar to help them organize meals and prepare for the upcoming week. Recipes can be placed into the calendar using a drag-and-drop method, and users can add written comments into each of the boxes if needed.
GROCERY LIST
The grocery list page shows all of the ingredients that users have added while looking at recipes. If users choose to open the website on their phone, they can check off boxes as they shop. Otherwise, they have the option to print out the list to take to the store.

The grocery store locator page helps users find grocery stores in their area. This tool may be useful for people who have moved to (or are visiting) a new city. It also can help users who are searching for a specialty ingredient, like one that can only be found in a health store or an ethnic store.
