Nicole Cipolloni's profile

A Woman's Contradiction

A Woman's Contradiction is an eveningwear collection that was inspired by Picasso; his painting, A Woman with a Crow, inspired me. This collection was designed with marabou feathers, orange dyed rooster feathers, gold beading, and sequined crows.
Pablo Picasso, A Woman with a Crow.
When I first saw the painting, I connected it to the evil queen. The evil queen is a woman who on the outside looks one way and and is completely different on the inside.
Angelina Jolie is my customer because she is, through my eyes, a contradiction. On the outside she does not look very approachable, but on the inside she is a kind and wonderful woman.
MATERIALS: This collection was designed with marabou feathers, dyed rooster feathers, gold beading, and sequined crows.

The design that I created is the corset top with the marabou feather skirt.
The Flats for the design chosen.
