To create the look for each of the levels, we developed a pretty big custom color and post process control console for our in house engine. We began by creating the proposed look on After Effects, using our usual color grading tools and we researched how to program each of the controls to mimic the controls of After Effects with great accuracy. In the end we were able to completely reproduce our "film industry" toolset in real-time, coloring each render pass and layer. Kudos to Alejandro Martinez for doing most of the the coding here.
