DG Magazine Cover Entry 

The DG Magazine cover I created was inspired by Shepard Fairey and his street art which I am a big fan of. I used hand-cut stencils, collage and digital media to create this cover. It represent Shepard Fairey's fight for peace and the impact his artwork has had on society.

Above is the collage and stencil combined and edited on Photoshop.

Above is the collage that sits underneath the artwork, it consists of patterns, newspaper cuttings, OBEY logos and artwork and a few propaganda images. After the collage was made I used a stencil of the Japanese rising sun to show Shepards 'fight'.
