Level Designer
Role:
- Conceptualize a base 3D environment layout to support gameplay.
- Communicate with 3D and conceptual artists to achieve a coherant gameplay and aesthetics combination.
- Script and spawn all enemies and events.
Accomplishments:
During my time on this project we released multiple successfull and well received updates. I was able to quickly establish a new workflow for the different needs of this project. A first draft of a 3D layout would be done on Sketchup. This could be quickly iterated on and redone in 3DS max, where artists would rework it. This gave me sufficient modeling skill so that I could later work from paper to 3DS max directly.
