"Le Petit Mort" is a collection of gowns inspired by the Romantic movement in literature and art, however I also drew inspiration from funerary art, the video game "Bloodborne" and the iconic camp horror film "The Fearless Vampire Slayers," staring Sharon Tate. The overarching mood of the gowns is a decaying decadence and weight, with a design emphasis on velvet, embroidery, feather work, and long, floor-sweeping silhouettes.
