Display Design Elements
The overall theme of the Window is protrayed through the slogan, " Stay Warm with Cougar Spirit." The window is symmetrically balanced by placing two signs on each side of the winows. Also for the focus point of the window is brought to attention by an assymetrical balance created by two mannequins and three prop trees. By hanging snowflakes in a horizontal line across the winow, causes a veiwer to follow the direction and drawing their attention to the entire window display. Additionally the repetition of the merchandise displayed on both sleves, along with the snowflakes provides this display with rhythm making it easier for the message to be retained. The color choices were used to keep consistent with the colors associated wiht the store, Crismon and Gray. Also by applying a light blue background, will contrast with the darker merchandise and reduce a glare in the window.
Design Affect
Photoshop rendered display for business Design Affects
Display Design Elements  The overall purpose for this window display was to creatively communicate what services were available for the business. The window at Design Affects looked directly into the interior design showroom, which caused confusion for what this business offered to someone that had never gone inside. A simple wooden rod was hung from the ceiling with sheer fabric attached to create a visually intriguing background that separated the display and message from the merchandise on the sales floor. The services offered at Design Affects was written and displayed in a repetition on the row of boxes, and each box contained products that visually demonstrated the service.
