I am in charge of schdeuling, planning and decorating the Birthday parties at Cupcake Concept. We make sure it is all about the customers! Having these birthday parties is a great tool to get easy and cheap advertisement because the amount of people that attend the party and the little time and money it takes to complete. The kids love it and the parents are happy to have no clean up! Planning these events have given me much insight on time management and being prepared in advance, also dealing with mishaps that come up randomly and could possibly force your business to lose cutsomers if not handled professionally. I have also helped organize a philanthropy event, "Swinging for the Fight Against Lymphoma and Muscular Dystrophy" for my sorority Alpha Omicron Pi. Cupcake Concpet donated mini cupcakes for the event and we set up a booth "Cupcakes for a Cure". This allowed us to not only donate for a great cause but to spread the word about Cupcake Concept to locals.
