Guardian's Gastropub branding project was one of the first steps taken by the owner in starting a new pub in Eugene OR. The proprietor wanted the brand to reflect the upscale pub food and beer options that would be offered, while giving a nod to the homey gastropubs in England. The multiple sample ideas I presented used an old British design element combined with a fresh take on typography. The logo design is the beginning for setting the mood and can help direct the interior style of the establishment. The print package at this time includes stationery and business card. More products to come as the pub reaches completion.
