Created for a Grade 11 photography project, where we were required to imitate an artists work. Unfortunately I cannot remember the artist to credit, but he created some incredible masks with natural materials (wood chips, pebbels etc.) and everyday items. This is my recreation of the wood mask, which is an incredibly hard, geometric material to work with. I used thin wood chips in order to create some curvature to properly immitate the face, which was my main objective.
