Self Promotional: The Resume/CV ...the Passport to Success
The Passport came from the idea that each designer is individual in their approach of design thinking. As a student, this was my calling card. It was hugely successful and demonstrated a high level of creativity. The passport quite literally mirrored the official British Passport (of the day), including the Royal Coat of Arms. All type was hand set in letterpress - in French as well as English. The cover was a plastic material with a leather texture.
The introductory pages inclde personal details such as 'name' and 'address', which is exactly what you'd find on a resume/cv. Classic Times Roman was used throughout the book.
Passport Inside: The end papers were handprinted using traditional linoprinting techniques - just enough colour to be noticed, but not too strong. Similarly the passport photo was rendered in lino print, in a photo booth style. The character (me) was known as Lino Lenny. You can find more of this work at www.linolenny.com
