The Black Mask of Fear

Yes, those are fingers on that masquerade mask, covering her eyes. Mostly. It allows you to peek through, because we all know that no matter how much you want to cover up your eyes completely when you're afraid, you're gonna peek through eventually. Hopefully your fears aren't inches in front of your face, staring back at you, when you do!

I went a bit over the hour on this one, because the mask wasn't done. But it was integral to the painting, so I had to finish.

This week's daily painting theme: inspiration from a single song lyric/line

Queensryche - Breaking the Silence
They told me to run, but just how far?
Can I go wearing the black mask of fear?

I used dA stock for this one (as a reference) - Thanks so much to Kechake-stock for Frostblommor 4
