The planned location is on Karagača in Petrovaradin. This part is located on the northern slope of mountain Fruška Gora and belongs to the wine region of Srem. On the selected plot there are already planted vines, which makes it very suitable for the construction of the winery. The total land area is 12 hectares, with a slight inclination of 3% towards the northwest. The plot on which winery is planned is isolated from the city noise, but have good conection with city, which is of great importance for tourists, delivery of necessary materials, machines for manufacturing, but also transporting the finished product. The concept of the winery includes two directions. The first line represents the identification of the object with a specific function. Through a large number of analysis, and based on case studies concludes that the process of wine is longitudinal process, which also affects form and shape of the Winery.
Restaurant and rooms for accommodation of guests are separated from the production process with entrance halls that the entire building divided into three separate units, without compromising straight-dominant structure. The building was designed in reinforced concrete skeletal system. The facade walls in part of the building which should provide a certain temperature are made of reinforced concrete, and covered with wooden planks laid horizontally. North wall of the building, and part of the south wall which is closest to accommodation units are made of glass, with the addition of sunbreakers which are esthetic and structural element in order to maintain a certain brightness of the room. Entrance halls as the central point of the building are made of a combination of aluminum and glass panels, both on the walls and on the roof. The rest of the roof structure is covered with grass for better integration into the landscape and energy efficiency.
