This brief asked me too create a 16 page magazine which expresses the creativity of curiosity and the concept of camouflage. I started by looking at how people camouflage their selves by the clothes they wear and their personality. From research in these areas, it led me too look at different fashion styles and stereotypes. I also looked at some magazines too get some inspiration for layouts and a style. From a lot of research and planning I decided to do my magazine on stereotypes in fashion; however I didn’t want it too show very cliched stereotypes but instead individual styles so that the readers are able to decide whether stereotypes are relevant or if it is just the persons individuality. I wanted to create the magazine to go along side other fashion editorial magazines in a stand, so I wanted it too be eye-catching but unique to stand out against existing ones. I also decided to take all my own photographs so their was a fluid style throughout and the photos were shot in black and white to give a high end fashion look. I only used two typefaces throughout to give a specific fashion style and the title ‘I.’ came from looking at different peoples individuality. After many developments this is my final magazine.
