Crave: The Experience

Crave: The Experience is an interactive user experience that challenges people to look up from their cluttered thoughts and technology, to actually see the important things they want out of life, and use that as a catalyst for open conversation and connections. The project centers around the question, "What do you crave?", as well as other questions we forget to think about throughout the day.
The installation invites people to walk through a clutter of random notifications and bombarding icons before ending at a point where they are prompted to face one another and look up. On the wall next to them are answers (from previous participants) to the question, "What do you crave in life?". These words are pasted on a white wall in white vinyl, making it so that the veiwer can only see if they actively search for them, much how we forget to do in real life.
Participants answer the question "What do you crave (in life)?" and tie a white string to each others pointer finger.
This mechanism reminds them to remember what they truly want out of life.
