This was a Freelance Assignment for school. To create an Editorial Illustration for a story to be published in a magazine
or newspaper, or on a website. We could choose the topic. Whatever we chose, the illustration needed to reflect an idea, concept, or point of view. The assignment was to not just create a simple Illustration, But one what would be
“worth a thousand words.”
I thought long and hard on this project for days on end. And in my opinion in 2014 there was no bigger story going
on then what was surrounding the NBA & the Los Angeles Clippers.
My Illustration won first prize and was featured in the Santa Barbara News Press as well as various website outlets.
