Humanly

Although 75% of suicides in Canada are committed by men, male mental health is still not a mainstream topic of conversation. Humanly intends to change this.

Humanly is an ad campaign that seeks to include men in the gender equality conversation by addressing male stereotypes and mental health concerns. It directs people to the campaign website, where they can learn more about the problems men face in today’s society. The aim is to create dialogues within communities.  Using eye-catching copy that delivers shock value before turning the conversation on its head, the print ads communicate the need to change society’s negative stereotypes of men.

This is a hypothetical project for my studies at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.

#behumanly stickers, both digital and physical, can be applied to advertising, movie posters, magazines and media in general before posting it on social media tagged with the campaign hashtag.
