I purchased this table at an estate sale for a new furniture refinishing project. It was originally stained a walnut color. After stripping and sanding to remove the old stain, I applied ebony stain. The faux lapis lazuli table top was painted using oil paints mixed with gloss. For the finishing touched I used gold leaf.
