The SFO or "The Gateway to the Pacific" is a world-class airport which serves tens of millions of domestic and international passengers annually.
The challenge in giving the correct identity and character to this organization was to blend the elements that portray its services, importance, and strength/credibility well.
Logo Versions
The logo itself represents a "gateway" using the recognizable shape of an airplane heading upward and the color blue as the sky. In addition, the play of shadows creates depth and resembles traditional Japanese Origami.
