The Dragon of Agony - Dragony

This is how Dragony started. Some lines defining shapes, volume and textures.
Then, the colors were defined, the background were just made to bring Dragony to front and defining contour.
It war ready to make volume.
This is the final digital draw of Dragony.
I decided to put the light from below to give the illustration a more dramatic environment.
The yellow smoke on Dragony's eyes were a last minute desition to give it a magical connotation.
The fog in the background brings the character to front and adds a dark feeling with the black surroundings.

Dragony represents a human prison to all those who are tied to pain. The pain is felt no matter what you wear or how you look like, so that's why the woman is bald and naked.
