I love the punk culture and the inspiration it has brought me. During my years in high school I was always fascinated with this period of time that resulted in such a dramatic impact within fashion, music and expression. Ever since I became fixated in wanting to learn and use such facinating views from this time, I have always loved to create my projects with no limitations to their outcomes. Finally adding that of course, I adore Vivienne Westwood.
This is a moodboard I created under a punk theme related to a headwear project in College a couple of years ago. The outcome of my project was a outlandish head piece that strongly projected the punk agrevated politics and the controversy that surrounded this, including a mocking of sacred Grenadier guards and their loyal, royal and ironic blood red uniform. From looking at this moodboard today I still find parts to it that i never realised before, I love to start with creating exciting moodboards as this enables all my ideas to be considered in one area, triggering any idea to be possible. To me, i'ts the most important stage to developing and finalising a successful project outcome.
