Front view of the headress - the headband inner side is covered by cork for a more comfortable fit. It is also easily ajusted to the head with the use of Velcro strips.

 

The neck of the serpent is made of overlapping pieces of polyestirene that mimic wood. The wooden feather are made of veneer and are varnished to achieve the final color.

Two different varnishes were used to get a nice complimenetary color.
