Video Salad is a peice of Video Art that celebrates the nostalgia of the VHS tape. This peice is comprised of digitized VHS video from found sources, mostly obscure thrift shop relics of the 90's, as well as a few contemporary media elements. For your entertainment, revisit the typical video tropes of the past; home shopping networks, instructional videotapes, exaggerated acting, and more!

 

The challenge of this video was editing the video segments together so that they would form a comprehensible narrative. More so than a video editing project, it became a game of language.
