Río Celeste
Cuenta la leyenda que cuando Dios pintó el cielo, lavó sus pinceles en Río Celeste.
Rio Celeste Waterfall
El teñidero / The Dyeer is probably the most interesting point of the trail and also the last point to visit. Here you can see the exact place where the phenomenon that causes the river water to turn turquoise takes place. Keep in mind that although you can see the characteristic blue at different points, here is the only place where you can see how the water changes color radically because it is the point where two tributaries meet, the Buenavista River and the Agria Creek, each of them with different characteristics in their waters. which causes this optical effect. (Roger,2023)

Blue Lagoon, Following the main trail for about 650 meters you will reach the Blue Lagoon, a small pool of an intense turquoise color. Bathing is also totally forbidden here, as well as in the waterfall, the lagoon, the dyeing pond or the river as they have a high concentration of natural chemicals that are harmful to health. (Roger,2023)
Hotbeds or bubbles, The next attraction you will find on the trail, about 100 meters from the previous one, are the hervideros or borbollones, small fissures or cracks, in which you can see how gases are expelled due to the volcanic activity in the area. And we cannot forget that the Río Fortuna Waterfall and all these places are located in the Tenorio Volcano National Park, an area with geothermal activity, despite the fact that the volcano currently has no activity. (Roger,2023).
Once you arrive at the Rio Celeste Waterfall you will have to descend (and then climb) some steep and slippery stairs (250 steps) until you reach the base, surrounded by thick vegetation, and see the magnitude of this impressive 30-meter waterfall.(Roger,2023)
I took the photos in 2018 for vacation.
I wanted to share them with you even though I had no knowledge in photography.
