Poster Design 'Face It'

Face It

A short film about facing one’s problems and overcoming them, rather than running away and avoiding them.
The client reached out to me to come up with a poster design for his film. He shared with me his vision of keeping it simple yet compelling to address his message.

The first step was to understand the message behind the film’s abstract cinematography, and the huge role that the ‘White’ and ‘Red’ colors play.
White, being the comfort zone in which the main character felt safest confining himself in a white room where everything surrounding him in such color and painting white everything that isn’t it.
Red, contrasting powerfully with white, and coming in a form of marbles that roll into this white room (his comfort zone) in a timely manner. They symbolize the problems that a person can either face head on, or deny and run away from (paint them white).

Thank you for viewing =)
