Travel App Design - Travel Buddy

Project Overview
Traveling is a popular activity for many young adults during breaks, but it requires careful preparation. Often, they book tickets and hotels on different websites, leading to inconvenience when searching for information across multiple emails. This app solves this issue by keeping all trip details in one place, eliminating the need to search through emails and text messages.

The app allows users to create detailed itineraries and store important documents securely. It also provides personalized recommendations for local attractions and restaurants, enhancing the overall travel experience. With this app, young adults can simplify the travel planning process and enjoy their breaks without the stress of managing multiple bookings and documents.

Design Process
To prepare for the research, I created a research plan. This plan outlines my approach to gathering insights that will help me understand people's pain points when it comes to planning a trip and what features they would like to see in an app. The goal is to make their trip planning experience more convenient so that they can have a well-planned trip.

As part of the research plan, I developed interview questions to guide our discussions. These questions are designed to uncover specific pain points and desired features. The interviews will be in-person and semi-structured, lasting between 25-35 minutes each. Each participant will receive a series of questions tailored to their travel experiences and preferences.

Some focus questions for the interviews include:
- What are some problems you have when planning a trip
- What is most important for you about planning a trip
- How do you usually plan a trip
- What do you worry about when traveling to a new place?
