Voices to Reach, Hands to Carve Justice

This installation is inspired by the last few years of events and social political turmoil, such as the 2020 election, Jan. 6th insurrection, the BLM movement, and the COVID-19 pandemic. In collaboration with students from the Chicago Agriculture High School and two artists (Zwierzynski and Lacroix), this installation, set in the window of CPAG, is devised into three parts: writings about the issues in the student’s community, a banner to state the struggle for justice, and eyes to invite the viewer to be alert about this turmoil and to struggle for social justice.
