Salsa latino is a dance studio that teaches salsa and latin dance. I was asked to create an identity that didn’t follow the typical look and feel you see from typical latin dance studios and classes. The brand had to feel slick, sexy and still invoke passion to compliment the latin dance style. Using a range of stills that showed more relaxed dance positions as well as ‘show’ moves locked up with the logo would demonstrate the different levels of dancers that could attend. The use of a silhouette style of photography gave back the glamour and style and provides a professional aesthetic that the customer can trust.
