"Gods and heroes: Gaza reporters"
Plestia Alaqad is twenty-two years old and worked in a marketing agency before the attack. Her Instagram was filled with beautiful and colorful pictures from her travels. This young woman traded her colorful dresses for a blue press vest and helmet and was one of the first to give us a glimpse into the horrors of the bombing. Plestija was evacuated and, at the time of writing this article, was in Australia.
