About the Client: Settle is an all-in-one payments solution tailored to the needs of growing consumer brands so they can pay bills, manage invoices, and apply for flexible and transparent working capital solutions seamlessly. Settle makes it easier for founders and small business owners to spend time on building incredible brands and ditch the spreadsheets, manual input, and stress.
Target Audience: Growing consumer brands in sectors such as apparel, beauty, snacks & beverages, and healthcare.
Communication Pillars: Automation, modern bill payment, ease and simplicity, built for CPG brands, no hidden fees.
Visual Style Requirements: The desired visual aesthetic is friendly and approachable yet maintains a professional tone. Aim for a fresh, minimalist design with a human touch while avoiding an overly cute or feminine look & feel.

The Project Details
Colors:
The illustrations make use of a pre-existing brand color palette.
Character Look & Feel:
After several explorations, we settled on a version featuring graphical and minimalist representations, utilizing one or two eyes and a nose.
Style Characteristic:
#1 Imitating the pencil-drawn lines and incorporating subtle texture to evoke a sense of human touch.
#2 All elements are slanted slightly to the right, adding dynamics to the compositions.
#3 To convey human presence, we use minimalist and abstract depictions of eyes and a nose. This approach ensures the human element while directing focus primarily on the illustration's concept.
#4 We use lines and fills. The linear elements in the illustration are more than the filled ones.
#5 Adding a little bit of grunge texture on objects and backgrounds reduces the digital look of the illustration.
