Students were tasked with an influential Graphic Designer, after writing a paper and presenting to the class they created a spread in the style of their designer with their own interpretation. The spreads were then compiled into a booklet with the class voting on a cover and table of contents design.

Students were tasked with an influential Graphic Designer, after writing a paper and presenting to the class they created a baseball style card in the style of their designer with their own interpretation. One side was full color and the other black and white, students created enough cards to "trade" with classmates.

Students were tasked with showing the meaning of a design principle "word" visually with very little extra elements added.

The assignment was to create a matchbook design, and digitally wrap the design to an image with dimensions that differed from the final physical dimensions of the sample product.

Emerging Artist Workshop: NHIA
High School Students experience college level workshop in graphic design. The assignment was to create a ransom styled note incorporating their own artwork/style and found typography. The phrases or topics were randomly selected from a list provided.

A cliché phrase was selected and a visual intrepretation was developed into a poster.

Rethinking Symbols
Students working in pairs, were tasked with redesigning the mens, womens, and family bathroom signs.

Students were tasked with creating a flyer for a "ridiculous" event for their college campus. Creating and incorporating Surrealist styled imagery from their own and found photography.

Students created an info-graphical poster on a selected topic.

From an Advertising class posters were created offering opinions on various ethical sistuations in and faced by the industry.

Using Adobe Illustrator students created a personal alphabet based on their character traits.

Students created a how-to brochure, including aleast one fold, topic was left to their selection.

Students were given the ability to select a company name from three provided (Proteus, Palfrey, and Padrone). They were then tasked with creating three distinct corporate logos for different industries.

PreCollege Experience:
Students were directed to select a "cause" that meant something to them. They then created a informational poster to spread awareness of that cause.

Monogram | Personal Mark with Stationery:
Final project for design class; creating their own personal mark or monogram. After mark was established associated stationery was created, including letterhead, business envelope, and business card.
