A ROMANCE OF MANY DIMENSIONS

“A Romance of Many Dimensions”, titled as a nod to Edwin A. Abbott’s “Flatland”, delves into the intricate relationship between geometric shapes and their surfaces, exploring the transitions from two dimensions to three as shapes evolve continuously.
By shifting from subdivided surfaces to floating cubes and utilizing contrasts such as light and shadow, as well as the juxtaposition of cool glass and warm metals, the animation portrays the evolution of form.

Warm, heat-treated copper hues are embraced for the metals, adding depth to the palette and light tubes in different light temperatures accentuate and complete the composition.
