Per il progetto “Born to be Wine” per il Consorzio Tutela Roero ho voluto raccontare la tradizione e la storia delle persone che hanno dato vita al vino che rappresenta il territorio del Roero.
For the “Born to be Wine” project for the Roero Protection Consortium I wanted to tell the tradition and history of the people who gave life to the wine that represents the Roero territory.
Con queste illustrazioni ho voluto raccontare la storia che lega le persone, le famiglie del territorio e i produttori al vino, al grande lavoro che viene poi racchiuso in una bottiglia di vino. Le persone e le gestualità della storia della vendemmia sono i protagonisti delle mie proposte.
With these illustrations I wanted to tell the story that links people, local families and producers to wine, to the great work that is then enclosed in a bottle of wine. The people and gestures of the history of the harvest are the protagonists of my proposals.
Roero Bianco | La freschezza di un bambino che, durante la vendemmia, assaggia il frutto del lavoro della famiglia.
Roero Bianco | The freshness of a child who, during the harvest, tastes the fruit of the family's work.
Roero Bianco Riserva | l'eleganza di un uomo che si riposa all'ombra di un albero vicino alla vigna durante la giornata di lavoro.
Roero Bianco Riserva | the elegance of a man resting in the shade of a tree near the vineyard during the working day.
Roero Spumante | il garbo nel gesto della raccolta delle uve, tutto l'amore che il produttore mette nel raccogliere il frutto del suo lavoro.
Roero Spumante | the grace in the gesture of harvesting the grapes, all the love that the producer puts into harvesting the fruit of his labor.
Roero Rosso | tutta la forza e l'energia delle donne del vino, che durante la vendemmia non si risparmiano e tengono testa alla forza maschile.
Roero Rosso | all the strength and energy of the women of wine, who do not spare themselves during the harvest and stand up to the male strength.
Roero Rosso Riserva | un'ode agli avi, alla loro dedizione al lavoro, alla terra, al vino, con l'anziana della famiglia che cavalca fiera il suo ciuchino mentre trasporta le ceste con le uve.
Roero Rosso Riserva | an ode to the ancestors, to their dedication to work, to the land, to wine, with the elderly woman of the family proudly riding her donkey while carrying the baskets of grapes.
