Valera (1948 - Born in Kharkov, Ukraine) and Natasha (1958 - Born in Damascus, Syria) Cherkashin live and work in New York and Moscow now.  They have been exploring the cultures of the USSR, Russia, United States, Great Britain, Germany, Spain, Japan, China, France, Italy and other countries. They have held more than 130 individual exhibits and more than 100 performances. Their work has been the subject of 40 television programs including CNN, Deutsche Welle, Italian Super Channel and many Russian TV.  Their work has been the subject of over 250 publications, including Washington Post, Art+Auction, Art Forum, Stern Magazine.
