This booklet was created in my first graphic design class in the fall of 2022. This booklet was created with the film photos I took of the people of Hawai'i. This project explores the lives of the marginalized and the stories I was told along my journey. In Hawai'i my time was spent amongst a religious group with very strict standards of living. I was told not to interact with certain groups and people. However, I did not follow those regulations and I began my journey to get to know the locals of Kona, Hawai'i. This book is testament to those who are often overlooked but have so much to share with the world.
