I hit a lull around the middle of last year, so as a way to get myself back to drawing—and generally trying to be more creative—I set myself a task to draw something new each day and thus matchingmonsters was born. It started with photos from myself and friends, but after the site got a little bit of internet notority in it's first couple months, I've been using submitted photos pretty much ever since.
