This project was about creating a Warhol-inspired celebrity portrait using a press photo and digital manipulation techniques. The project involved selecting various facial features of the celebrity, filling them with bold, contrasting colors, and adjusting the blending modes and opacity to achieve a pop art aesthetic. Additionally, a posterize or threshold adjustment layer was applied to create more contrast and a sense of vibrancy. The project also encouraged exploring creative background elements and flourishes to enhance the overall composition.
