I had the great honor to design these sandals for the special Pride edition for REEF. The left is a “bad day” and right is a “good day”. The idea is that I not only wanted to show the professionals like on instagram. I wanted to show also the beginners and the whipe-outs. I love surfing myself and some days it’s awesome and some days awful. 

The sandals are waterproof and perfect for the beach. In a very macho world like the surf world I wanted to use my pride pallet and show an inclusive image. I want to encourage more queer people and women to come surf to make the line-up more diverse.
