This is the mood board I created for inspiration when creating her initial design and choosing the right colors

After digitally tracing the first concept drawing, I wasn't sure which color to use for the hair. These are the colors I tested before settling for the washed out purple color.
I later did a digital version of the style without the big cloak as this made the character easier to pose and gave me more freedom with what I could do with her design and expressions.
After I had settled on the design, it was time to begin the creation of the maquette.
