Nammour Symposium
The Nammour Symposium is an annual speaker event at Sac State. The topic of this event is about artificial intelligence and philosophy.
I designed a broad visual system including a poster, postcard, website, wayfinding signage, and merchandise.
Poster
Using different shapes, gradients, and compositions abstractly explores the overlap between humanity and A.I.
This project gave me the chance to transform different elements throughout several print pieces and merchandise. The postcard was one of the explorations on how I could augment this system. Within its design, shape elements create a letterform that represent the word "Ai"
Postcard
The postcard can also be viewed vertically. Within my design, I had intentionally oriented certain elements to be viewable this way.
Website
The website for this event includes a home page, event schedule, and featured speaker page. I wanted these websites to be incorporated into the wayfinding, so as a result, they can be viewed on a tablet outside of the event door.
Wayfinding
The wayfinding is implemented at the garage closest to the event location and directs the guests to the indoor auditorium.
Merchandise
As the final part of the guest experience, the merchandise I designed for this event was a handheld notebook and pen. Guests can take notes during the event and then bring their notebooks home.
