first i add the elephant image and. i removed the background,

in this image i add the ground and i used levels and vibrance

in this image I masked out parts of the trees and elephant to achieve a desired effect and applied lighten and darken layer blending.

in this stage i used  hue/saturation then i used colour balance for the final out put
