Project Overview


KDB산업은행 리브랜딩 주요 아이덴티티인 마스코트 디자인입니다. KDB가 추진하는 ESG정책을 함축한 마스코트로 자연 생태계에 큰 기여를 하며 동시에 리브랜딩 방향성인 '신뢰의 설계'를 함축하는 동물로 '비버'를 선택하였습니다. 뉴트리아와 외형적으로 유사하되 생태계 기여도는 정반대인 부분을 시놉시스에 녹여내었으며, KDB의 아이덴티티를 반영하여 파란색 비버 캐릭터 '캐비(Kebi)'를 설계하였습니다. ESG, 개인 금융 부분에 활용하여 KDB의 다채로운 금융시장의 파급력을 강화하고자 하였습니다. 

This is the mascot design, the main identity of Korea Development Bank's rebranding. As a mascot that implies ESG policies promoted by KDB, we chose Beaver as an animal that contributes greatly to the natural ecosystem and at the same time implies the design of trust, a rebranding direction. The synopsis incorporates parts that are similar in appearance to Nutria but have the opposite contribution to the ecosystem, and the blue beaver character 'Kebi' was designed to reflect KDB's identity. It was intended to strengthen KDB's diverse financial market by utilizing it in ESG and personal finance.
