I am currently finishing my studies in Graphic Design and Media Arts at Souther New Hampshire University. I am a Freelance Designer and Photography Enthusiast, with an background in Marketing and Restaurant Management.

I have always enjoyed art from an early age. I can remember spending most of my childhood looking at magazine designs and cutting them out and making them into collages. My love for art has grown over the years, and I cannot image myself doing anything else. A few years back, my passion for art developed into the digitals arts. Today, I find myself creating portraits using Illustrator; turning the serious aspects of life into caricatures. I believe no project is too big or too small, and I believe I can translate your ideas into a work of art.

 

I currently work for a small chain of restaurants as the Operations and Marketing Manager. My position with the company has broaden my knowledge of the communications industry and has helped me to gain new skills. I have learned how to use social media tools to engage with their audience and drive more traffic to the company website. After I complete my degree in Graphic Design and Media Arts at Southern New Hampshire University, I plan to start in their Masters of Marketing program this coming Fall.

 

In May 2014, I attended a Travel Study Program in Brazil. This trip served to deepen my knowledge of arts in a different culture. Spending nine days in Brazil was a great opportunity; I learned about colonial and modern architecture, and visited various museums of modern art. This experience has broaden my knowledge about many things; and I look forward to apply this knowledge with my future clients in the United States.

 

I believe that one of my biggest assets is my interpersonal skills. I love to interact with people and I feel that I get along well with others. Secondly, I believe that I way of connecting with peple and I like to apply this skill when creating engaging content for social media. Creating engaging content that includes images, is one of my favorite things to do. I also consider myself a fast learner, especially when it comes to learning how to use new software.

Design Brief
These images were manipulated using Adobe Photoshop. For the first images I changed the color saturation and added a leyer to adjust the contrast and color banalace. The second image has paint effect, I used the cutout, dry brush and the mediam filter, and the smudge tool, and used a different layer for each effect. For the third image I used the blur tool and the sketch cutout filter. For the last image I added a sepia color effect and added a top later and changed the saturation
