Growth (Plants, because they are growing)
Enjoyment (cats, because I get the absolute most enjoyment out of them)
Confidence (small animals, because even if they are small they have the biggest confidence.)
Proud (stars, because they are shining proudly)
Myself (mirrors, because they reflect their vision)
Assignment
I decided that for this assignment I would collect sketches from sketchbook and combine all of these in a book. At first wanted to take an actual book and draw and paint in it. This failed pretty bad. So I had to quickly thing of an alternative for this. I ended up choosing to make it in photoshop. I would scan in drawings and then edit them into the book.
I picked out a light pink color to color in some small parts in each drawing. This really makes all the pages feel like they are meant to be with each other. (I did have a tiny mistake I can't seem to fix somehow, which is that the growth page uses a bit of a different pink tone.)
Adding my work to the pages
So to add the five older assignments I made, I wanted to do it on the next page. So when you first see the growth page for example, the moment you turn it around you get a picture of the work I made and the information beside it.
Evaluation
I did it all in a small time period, but I really liked it. I like the way it looks and how it is all combined. Other people are also enthousiastic about my work. I should've asked a bit more people about their opninion along the way though.
