Downed Drone
Downed Drone is a limited edition of 40 portable lamps created from spent shells of the Kyiv air defense system.
We turned the spent shells from the tumultuous Kyiv nights into unique designer lamps. Because light always wins. But victory requires the participation of many people. Those who aim and shoot. Those who create and organize fundraisers to send drones, equipment, and vehicles to the front line.
Each lamp has a unique number. It is a symbolic gift to friends of Ukraine, a new amulet, and a collectible that will become an embodiment of the Ukrainian victory and will grow in value over time.
Where did we get the shells from?
Anyone who was in Kyiv on May 4 and May 16 remembers those nights when everything was exploding. You could watch as Ukrainian air defense forces shot down enemy drones and missiles from your window. These were legendary nights when our defenders of the sky stood up to the enemy.
On May 4, at about 3:00 a.m., Ukrainian air defense forces successfully shot down a Russian X-47 Kinzhal hypersonic missile, considered unattainable for air defense in the skies over Kyiv.
On May 16 our air defense shot down 6 Russian Kinzhals, 9 Kalibr, three ground-launched missiles (S-400, Iskander-M) and 9 enemy drones.
The Downed Drone lights are made from shell casings from those very nights. It was the real weapon that saved civilian lives and will now support the military.
Design
1Wt lamp charges from the standard type-C socket. Fully charged, it works for about 4 hours. The design unites a brutal look of the body shells with an elegant brass top and a unique nameplate.
Big goal
We support a company of attack drones of the 38th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They need vehicles, portable hard drivers, and power charge stations to be more effective on the front line. All goods from their actual request cost $45,000. The person who donates 1100$ gets the Down Drone lamp with the unique serial number.
