women. These stories aren't linked together by a common plot, but they are discreetly and intricately entwined,
much like the heroines' life journeys. They are committed feminists, obedient wives, and dissatisfied with life. The
author persuasively represents everyone while not endorsing anyone or trying to advance their cause, allowing the
reader to decide which voice is more in line with his own.
