About ÖZGÜNİLGÜN
The story of the brand that has been created with an instinctive belief, creativity and refined through a sense of team‑work is hardly a new idea. ÖZGÜNİLGÜN reimagines the contrast‑driven, inventive and traditional design with elements of modern concepts using precious materials, bringing craftsmanship to the forefront. All these concepts are transferred to the designs with memories and transparency.
#mother Nilgün is an experienced woman, who worked with several popular ready to wear brands while she was having her educations in music. #daughter Özgün, who is an experienced art director who worked for different corporate brands, plays the role of an creative director and turns this close mother‑daughter relationship to a project filled with fun and shared memories.
ÖZGÜNİLGÜN is harmony of music and fashion and reflects this in everyday life as well as to this new brand they create.
This project also reflects their views on sustainability and it strives to create distinctive products with minimum waste, paying a respectful tribute to the deeply rooted ethnics of Anatolia that is the birth place of its woven fabrics. These unique pieces which will make you want to wear them everyday life and can be kept for many years with care, are mixed with nostalgia and comes to life in the oriental city of Istanbul.

Kutnu is a traditional fabric made from silk and cotton, whose history has been preserved for centuries in the Anatolian region. Its shiny, delicate appearance comes from the fine craftsmanship used to produce it.
The sewing and beadwork of the products are crafted by hand. So, naturally, there are no exact similarities between each item. Each piece is hand-crafted and is one of a kind.
Remember that ÖZGÜNİLGÜN has unique pieces that will make you feel special in your everyday life or in special moments, so it deserves to be protected in a special way too. It is suggested that you properly keep it in order that you can use it for a long time by adopting the perspective of "AVOIDING OVERCONSUMPTION".
