LUX GIT Awards Spring 2023 - GIT 215

The code I wrote was HTML and CSS code for a web page. The HTML provided the structure of the page, including the header, main content, and footer sections. Within the main content section, we added images, headings, and paragraphs to provide information about a resort in the Swiss Alps called Lux.

The CSS code was used to style the HTML and make it visually appealing. I applied various styles to different elements, such as font size and color, background color, padding, and margins. I also used CSS to position elements on the page, such as aligning text and images.

Throughout the process, I made design choices based on the desired outcome of the page. For example, we chose to use images to showcase the beauty of the resort and the surrounding landscape. I also used headings and paragraphs to provide information about the amenities and options available to visitors.

In terms of layout, I placed elements in a way that made sense visually and created a logical flow of information. For example, I placed the Swiss Valley image at the top of the page to provide an immediate visual impact and followed it with a heading and paragraph introducing the resort.

Overall, the code we wrote was designed to create an informative and visually appealing web page that would encourage visitors to book a stay at the Lux resort in the Swiss Alps.
n this particular code, I see that the background color of the body is white, which provides a neutral and clean canvas for the content. The Lux brand is presented in a deep blue color, which suggests luxury and sophistication. The font choices are also elegant and modern, contributing to the overall aesthetic of the site.
The use of hover styles on the navigation links is also a nice touch. When a user hovers over a link, the background color changes to a slightly darker blue, giving the user visual feedback and indicating that the link is interactive. This can improve the user experience and make the site feel more engaging.
